The Applied Security (apsec) presents its standardized solutions for encryption and digital signatures at the GITEX Saudi Arabia in the Riyadh International Exhibition Center from 25-29 April 2010 in Riyadh.
Based on FIPS certified standards, the Applied Security M.E. FTZ Branch presents its new encryption and digital signature solutions at the upcoming GITEX Saudi Arabia 2010. All the solutions are fully developed by the Applied Security GmbH in Germany.
The new release of the world-class Data Leakage Prevention by Encryption solution fideAS® file enterprise 4.0 now combines one-, two- and three-factor user authentication with strong data encryption and unique data leakage features including copy and clipboard protection, removable media control and application control. Major banks and enterprises in the U.A.E. as well as in Oman are already using previous versions of fideAS® file enterprise with great success. They all appreciate fideAS® file enterprise’s impressive performance when it comes to securing sensitive data on notebooks, workstations, file servers and backup devices. For highly sensitive data, the new fideAS® file enterprise module Critical Data offers an approval process for the copying, moving or duplication of critical data.
fideAS® sign 2.0 introduces a completely new approach to digital signatures. Integrated into existing IT environments within a few days, fideAS® sign 2.0 offers enhanced digital signatures for all kinds of electronic and workflow data like Microsoft® Office documents, PDF, XML, graphics, scans, plots and drawings. Various international smartcards, Trust Center certificates and national ID smartcards like the Qatari Citizen ID card are already integrated and ready to use. The software integration interfaces XML/SOAP, e-mail, and File-I/O bring digital signatures to life in many different scenarios. Every digital signature is based on the internationally standardized hashing algorithm SHA-256. Customized versions of fideAS® sign 2.0 are available for Windows, Linux and Unix platforms.
