For the second time in a row, the solution fideAS® file enterprise has been granted an award by the „Initiative Mittelstand“, an initiative for medium-sized businesses.
After its 2007 award, the encryption software fideAS® file enterprise by the Applied Security GmbH (Stockstadt) has again received the innovation award presented by the „Initiative Mittelstand“, an initiative for medium-sized businesses. For the second time in a row, fideAS® file enterprise, the solution for „Data Loss Prevention“ was selected from over 1.600 applications. The awards show for the winners in 33 categories was held at the world’s largest trade fair for IT solutions „CeBIT“.

The innovative quality of fideAS® file enterprise lies in its combination of different security technologies. The solution not only provides a highly secure encryption for all files stored on file servers, workstations or laptops. It also supports the central control of mobile storage devices like USB flash drives. In addition to that, it allows for the encryption of confidential email attachments.

The VÖB itself is already using the software.
